YM-2 Mud Balance is used to determine specific gravity of mud,and it's unit i g/cm³.

Az YM típusú iszapfolyadék sűrűségmérő egy olyan típusú, egyenlőtlen karú műszer. A szerkezet a következő ábrán látható.

It has a main lever ruler,and a cap blade in the ruler is used as pivot.There is a mud cup with a cap on the left of main lever ruler,and there is a balance bucket witha plug on the right of main lever ruler, the plug is mainly used for rectifying the heavy(lead buttons) which is needed by the balance of lever. Consequently, do not unscrew the plug unless rectifying the instrument. There is a horizontal vesicle on the main lever above the main blade,and it shows that the lever is in a balanced situation when the horizontal vesicle is on the middle position. There is a mobilizable weight on the lever. The screw on the back of weight is used to make the weight remove smoothly on the lever groove. There is a tapped hole on the weight bottom which is used to adjust the weight's weight. Do not unscrew this tapped hole in case inaccuracy of instrument. The main lever ruler is put on the cave of adminicula,so,the ruler can sways flexibly.A support is designed on the adminicula in order to prevent the man ruler over slanted, and the main ruler can rest on this support when the instrument is not on work.

III.Üzemeltetési szabályok

1. Vegye le az iszapos csésze sapkáját, töltse meg a poharat mérendő iszappal. Ha buborékok vannak a sárban, óvatosan ütögesse az iszapos csészét, amíg a buborék át nem futja (25-ször rázza meg a sárpoharat, ha az iszap cementes.

2. Tegye fel a kupakot az iszapos pohárra, csavarja be a lehető legszorosabban, hogy a felesleges sár és levegő kinyomódjon a kupak közepén lévő kis pórusokon.

3. Törölje le a sarat a sapkáról és a karról.

4. Tegye a sapkát az adminicula barlangjára úgy, hogy a főkar vonalzója a támasztékon feküdjön.

5. Mozgassa a mérleget a fő penge közelébe, majd lassan mozgassa jobbra, hogy a főkar vonalzója egyensúlyban maradjon (meg lehet vizsgálni, hogy a vízszintes hólyag középen van-e).

6. Olvasási szám: a súly bal oldali vonalának megfelelő pipa a mért iszap fajsúlya.
